Sampford Peverell Tennis Club

Avatar

The best little tennis club in the South West

Courts

The club has three macadam courts, all of them floodlit.

The two main courts are in the centre of Sampford Peverell, by the car park opposite the village hall on Lower Town (the main road through the village). The courts are in good condition, having been repainted in Spring 2007.

These courts are reserved for club use - for social tennis, league matches, junior coaching and use by members. Access is by a combination lock. Members can obtain the number by contacting Richard or  Janet Clark or Simon Townley (see contact page).

The third court is on the village recreation ground on Whitnage Road. This court is available for public use. The key can be obtained from the village Post Office in Higher Town. The charge is £5 per hour.

The clubhouse by the two main courts is now equipped with water and electricity as well as a toilet and changing area.

We also have a ball machine which is available for use by all members
